EPL 2024-2025 Betting

The EPL new season 2024-2025 is in full swing, and the betting odds on every English Premier League match are heating up here at WClub. WClub Singapore is one of the best destinations for football betting, so betting on your favorite team has never been easier.

The Premier League was established in February 1992 when the top division of English football broke away from the Football League to create a more competitive top-tier league. And its success has inspired other European leagues, like Spain’s La Liga and Germany’s Bundesliga. Since then, the Premier League has now become one of the most popular and watched football competitions around the globe; but not only that, because it also opens up the door for punters to bet on each match. This elite football competition brings together the world’s best footballers to compete to take home the title.

EPL Format

This English football league consists of 20 teams, wherein each club is playing each other twice, once at home and once away; so for each season, there will be a total of 38 games per team, making up 380 games in a season.

For each EPL match, clubs each have three points for a win, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss. Then at each season, the bottom three teams are relegated to the Championship (the second tier of English football), while the top two teams from the Championship will be promoted to the Premier League. There will also be a championship knockout match between the clubs that finished 3rd to 6th in the championship to complete the final promotion team. If teams end up with the same number of points, their position in the table is decided by a series of tiebreakers:

*Goal Difference

*Goals Scored

*Head-to-head points

*Away goals scored in head-to-head matches

Then, the club with the most points at the end of the EPL 2024-2025 season is crowned champion. The English Premier League is the most important trophy but to finish in the top four is also very important because those top teams will be competing in the UEFA Champions League, which is one of the major competitions for the best teams in Europe.
